Hi, I’m Jens Ove Drößiger

I am in the field of UX/ UI and web design, but I love to get into new topics.
When I'm not pushing pixels and coding,
I love to experiment in the kitchen, play tabletop games with friends or reading comics and non-fiction books.

My journey of becoming a designer
started at painting school by Régis Noél in Solingen

I completed my training as a design assistant (Gestaltungstechnischer Assistant, GTA) from 2011 to 2015 in Cologne at the Richard-Riemerschmid-Berufskolleg and discovered my love for typography, web design and the career field of interface design.

In 2015 I moved to Potsdam to
study Interface Design at the Potsdam University of Applied Sciences (FHP). I discovered new design areas such as infographics, data visualisation, editorial design, animation, user experience design and more.

• In 2018, I developed an infographic on
CO2 emissions in global shipping with the supervision of Prof. Boris Müller and research data from the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIC).

• In my summer term in 2020 I had an
internship in the Tagesspiegel Innovation Lab in Berlin. The head of the lab was Hendrik Lehmann.

My last important station in my studies was in 2021 with Prof. Boris Müller, who supervised my Bachelor's thesis on digitalisation in the German craft sector and accessibility in the construction industry.
